The environment and fashion: two enemies ?

Greenhouse gas emissions, water, microplastics... fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world.

What if we decided to produce and consume differently?

As part of the 10th edition of Monaco Fashion Week, the Mission pour la Transition Energétique invites you to attend the "Responsible Fashion Meetings" at CREM.

The event will be held in English, in partnership with the Monegasque Chamber of Fashion (CMM) and the Monaco City Council. Marjorie Crovetto, Deputy Mayor in charge of the Environment and Sustainable Development, will honor us with her presence.

Circularity, choice of materials, eco-responsible alternatives, upcycling, recovery ... Fashion has more than ever a quest for meaning, utility and sustainability. The textile sector knows that it must reinvent itself and many initiatives are involved in laying the foundations of sustainable fashion.

Come and participate and exchange on sustainable fashion with several actors of the international and Monegasque Fashion, including :

- Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of MWC

- Matteo Ward, Sustainable innovator & activist
- Claudio Betti, Owner luxury fashion Spinnaker
... and two committed Monegasque designers :

- Ines Bensalah, for Inessa création, new Ambassador of the National Pact for Energy Transition

- Alexis Gianotti, for Giannotti Monaco, local and eco-responsible designer.

You will also have the opportunity to meet the winner of the "Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Sustainable Contest", designated the evening before.

The meeting will be followed by questions and exchanges with the audience.
